Ingredients
• 1 lb ground beef
• Pepper
• 2 diced tomatoes
• 1 diced onion
• 1 chili pepper in cubes
• Ketchup
• Oregano
• 1 clove garlic
• Olives
• 1 grated carrot
• 1 Ziba’s Clásicas
Procedure
step by step
Place the flour, a pinch of salt and a tablespoon of oil in a bowl and mix.
Add the water little by little until a homogeneous mixture is obtained and let stand for at least 20 minutes.
Preparation of filling and empanadas:
Place in a pan the onion, tomato, chili bell pepper, garlic and sauté, then add the meat.
Add the carrots and olives, season with oregano, salt and pepper. Let cool and place the Ziba’s.
Roll out the previously prepared dough into a circle, place the filling and close in half to form the empanada.
Place the oil in a pan and submerge the empanadas until they have a golden appearance.
Serve and accompany with tomato sauce and chopped parsley.
